Database on Isotopes
Many research groups involved in the COST BM0607 Action have various background, experience and potential to develop new radiotherapeutic agents, some are near the isotope production sites, others are in the research institutions involved in the synthesis or biological evaluation of the radiotracers and working with low levels of radioactivity. In order to improve exchange of information about this various experiences the database is being constructed within the activities of WG4 Radionuclides The questionnaire has been prepared and circulated among the participants of COST BM0607. Partners were asked to characterize available nuclear reactors or accelerators (cyclotrons) for activation of targets and available generator systems and possibilities to produce the radionuclides on site. Short description of the user laboratory was requested with information on the experience in investigations with specific radionuclides. List of radionuclides for potential application in diagnostics and therapy being a subject of interest of COST BM0607 Action and characteristics of each of these radionuclides are being added as links.
