Urgent update from WG5

In the MC meeting of COST BM0607 in Freiburg we agreed that we would initiate follow-up projects to continue the work with the CCK2R binding ligands. We now have appointed the coordinators for four follow-up projects: 1. Clemens DeCristoforo & Helmut Maecke: Clinical testing of 1-3 peptides 2. Steve Mather & Peter Laverman: Ga-68 microPET imaging, 3. Marion de Jong & Otto Boerman: Preclinical PRRT and reduction of renal toxicity 4. Thea Maina, Berthold Nock & Helmut Maecke: Development of new analogs with improved characteristics for PRRT The coordinators will invite investigators from the COST BM0607 group to get their projects going. The coordinators will be responsible for the progress of the project and the coordinators will report on the progress of the project during the COST BM0607 meetings. Dear all, the COST meeting Freiburg is approaching fast and we are looking forward to welcome your in Freiburg. Here some additional info. Travelling to Freiburg: Flying to the Airport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (http://www.euroairport.com/DE/accueil.php); leave the Airport to the German/French site (not Swiss); there is an airport train to Freiburg (http://www.freiburger-reisedienst.de/) about every hour (travel time 50min); taxi to Freiburg is very expensive (about 110€). Flying to the Airport Frankfurt; train from Frankfurt Airport to Freiburg (www.bahn.de) travel time about 2 h. Flying to the Airport Zurich; train from Zurich Airport to Freiburg (www.bahn.de) travel time about 2,5 h. For more information, please contact the organiser of this meeting, Professor Marion De Jong m.hendriks-dejong@erasmusmc.nl Please find attached the reimbursement form and the reimbursement rules as well as the checklist for reimbursement. Please take the time to read these rules carefully. The COST office will reimburse the travel costs plus a fixed amount for meals and a maximum of 2 nights for this meeting. You are kindly asked to use the most economical means of transport. Use ideally Economy flights. BEFORE you travel to the meeting could you please: · Register your bank details on www.cost.esf.org/e-cost · complete the attached reimbursement form, print it off, sign it and take it to the meeting; · make a legible copy of your air / train tickets as well as your travel agency invoice. All transport tickets must indicate the total price, the departure and arrival dates as well as the departure and arrival city. Air tickets must also mention the departure and arrival time, the ticket number (not the booking confirmation), the booking class (to indicate you went via economy class) and the name of the passenger. For local transport expenses no receipts are required under a total of EUR 25 (out & return). If the total is above EUR 25 for the entire trip all receipts must be added to the reimbursement form. Taxi fares are only reimbursed where no reasonable public transport is available and are limited to EUR 40 in total for the entire trip; taxi receipts are always required as is written justification. If you travel by car, maximum 2.000km will be reimburse at a rate of 0.20€/km. You need to attach a proof of distance that shows: departure place, arrival place, number of km. DURING the meeting could you please: · hand over your travel copies / receipts with your signed reimbursement form to Professor De Jong who will send the forms collectively to the COST office; · sign the COST attendance list at the meeting place; AFTER the meeting could you please: send any additional return receipts to be reimbursed by e-mail or fax to me (jnchungoru@cost.esf.org ) immediately after the meeting.
