New Ligands and Chemistry for Targeted Radionuclide Therapy: Mission Statment

The objective of the Working Group 2 is the development and optimization of suitable vectors (biomolecules) for targeted radionuclide therapy. Such vectors include: •Recombinantly produced proteins (e.g. affibodies or scFv fragments etc.) •Peptides •Vitamins (e.g. folic acid) •Small molecules (e.g. amino acids, nucleosides etc.) Another task of this Working Group 2 is the modification of the vectors for labeling with radionuclides and the development of labeling protocols Newly developed ligands that will enter into clinic studies will be prepared in adherence to The rules Governing Medicinal Products in the European Union.
